Photographed out chest-deep in the pond in Seney National Wildlife Refuge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in early Septembere. Image captured with a 4"x5" large format view camera. This exquisite scene evolved after 4 days of powerful storms blowing across Lake Superior, complete with strong winds and pouring rains. Couldn't say going through all that it would be worth the wait - just had to wait - and hope - and see, having seen the potential as the storm approached. Luck was, it WAS worth the wait.

As all my images, this comes in a variety of presentations: print only, notecard, matted, gallery-wrap canvas and framed. They come in many sizes and can be custom-sized (virtual fitting) to your wall space. Contact me and I will guide you on selections!

This particular image is an 24" x 30" photograph on archival paper using pigmented inks. It is mounted to 3/16" Gatorboard with a matte lamination applied to the surface that removes all light reflection and removes the need for using glass in the framing. All preparation materials are archival. The frame I use is a wood frame with a linen liner, the combination adding 2.5" in each direction. So the outside dimensions (wall space taken up) is 23" x 29". The image is signed/numbered in lower right corner from edition of 250.

NOTE: The wooden frame and liner is the framing offered on this piece and others I offer here as "framed". The frame has been discontinued so when my inventory is gone .... the framing option will change.
