Red maple leaves (acer rubrum) on a black rock outcrop (schist or gneiss rock) along the Falls River in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of the best years for red maples I experienced in my years photographing in the Great Lakes. And people ask me: "Did you lay all those leaves out that way?" My response has always been ..... "Really ???" Come on - get real!

As all my images, this comes in a variety of presentations: print only, notecard, matted, gallery-wrap canvas and framed. They come in many sizes and can be custom-sized (virtual fitting) to your wall space. Contact me and I will guide you on selections!

This particular image is an 18" x 24" photograph printed on archival canvas and prepared as a gallery-wrap canvas presentation. This is where the image wraps around the keyed stretcher frame, the image on the edges being mirrored from the image. In this way, none of the original image is lost. The image is printed in-studio on my large format printer using pigmented archival inks. On drying, a matte/satin coating is applied to further soften light reflections, also to seal the canvas print surface from moisture. All preparation materials are archival. The image is signed/numbered on the backside of the canvas, in lower right corner, from edition of 250.
