11 years in the making. I carried a blue filter for 11 years to try and find the right combination of trees, then fog to produce a foggy-night appearance to create this type of "blue moon" image. Mimicing what it is like to go walking at night in a fog with a full moon. One of the most quiet, beautiful and personal places we can be in live. Found good settings of trees but the fog .... oh the fog .... so rare and so rare around the tree! Finally though - got it!

As all my images, this comes in a variety of presentations: print only, notecard, matted, gallery-wrap canvas and framed. They come in many sizes and can be custom-sized (virtual fitting) to your wall space. Contact me and I will guide you on selections!

This particular image is an 18" x 24" photograph on archival paper using pigmented inks. It is mounted to 3/16" Gatorboard with a matte lamination applied to the surface that removes all light reflection and removes the need for using glass in the framing. All preparation materials are archival. The frame I use is a wood frame with a linen liner, the combination adding 2.5" in each direction. So the outside dimensions (wall space taken up) is 23" x 29". The image is signed/numbered in lower right corner from edition of 250.
